The charming summer house we found on the plot perfectly blended into the steep southern slope – the wooden facade, the gabled roof reaching to the foundation, and the limestone-finished basement made for a carefree holiday.

Our design task was to transform the shelter into a year-round place, warm, comfortable and functional.
To ensure thermal comfort, the external walls were insulated and finished with white plaster. By changing the angle of the roof slope, additional dormers in the slopes provided more space. Moving the staircase to the northern wall facilitated communication between the floors.

Thanks to the changes, we achieved the desired effect, ensuring that the structure still harmonizes with the natural surroundings.
