The design was intended to create order in the interior composition by subordinating it to the main elements of the space and emphasizing the existing compositional values. Newly introduced elements continued the structure of the interior in a clear way.

– unification, creation of a uniform space in terms of frontage;
– reminiscence of the living room, creating a mosaic similar to those in baroque charches, that was associated with the main space;
– obtaining an additional third dimension, an optical illusion, which, when perceived in the appropriate perspective, allows us to see a new dimension and quality of this interior;
– local materials such as granite, basalt, limestone.

– illumination of the Town Hall and Corpus Christi Church highlighted the two main dominants of this space;
– lamps in the floor of the square created a subtle foreground for the illumination of the former town hall building, emphasized the layout of the floor and give the square a contemporary dimension through free composition;
– historical lamps along three facades of the square emphasized the interior layout and character of the Salon.

– the main idea was to give priority to pedestrian transport. Due to this, vehicular traffic was limited on the extension of Corpus Christi Street. The designated communication route in this place served residents and services located on the ground floors of the tenement houses;
– the access from the north was similar. The road lane in the mentioned places was marked with a minimal curb and architectural elements – benches, bollards;

– the road lane on the southern side will be preserved along with the parking spaces introduced along it. The existing tracks have been recreated in this lane, which will enable the historic tram to park here.
